Live Co2 Absorbing Plants

Snake Plant, Golden Pothos, and Prayer Plant, with the Prayer Plant potentially being the most effective at CO2 intake. For a nighttime CO2 absorption boost, choose plants with CAM photosynthesis like Snake Plants, Aloe Vera, and Jade Plants. 

• Prayer Plant (Maranta leuconeura): A 2021 study found it to be the most effective plant for CO2 removal in a controlled environment, absorbing 14.4% of chamber CO2.
• Snake Plant (Sansevieria trifasciata): Absorbs CO2 at night through CAM photosynthesis, making it excellent for bedrooms.
• Golden Pothos (Epipremnum aureum): Very hardy, tolerates low light, and is effective at removing CO2 and toxins.
